Within the exchange program of Russian and German (Kundalini) Yoga teachers, moving peace concerts and workshops were held both in Germany and Russia.
One of the participating Russian Mantra Bands, the group Iktaar, presents their Sadhana album here - Mantras for the early morning meditations in the tradition of Kundalini Yoga, which can also be heard and enjoyed at any other time of day for inspiration, or to just to stay "in tune".
Iktaar is formed by the Russian chantress Harinamsimran Kaur and guitarist and singer Santokh Singh - both being certified yoga teachers. Through their in-depth knowledge of the power and effect of the mantras, coupled with a distinctive touch of "Russian soul", arises wonderful Sadhana music which is one of a kind. The melodies and rhythms are perfect for chanting along and meditating.
