Angels of Awakening - Dharm Khalsa CD
Aquarian Sadhana Chants
Angels of Awakening is a amazing blend of deep meditative focus with evocative grooves, delightful musicianship, and sacred divine grace. This is Dharm ji’s first album in eight years, and during this time he has delved deeply into the sacred early morning Sadhana, and the live music that accompanies the chants at the Mother Ashram in Espanola, NM. The mantras of Aquarian Sadhana are universal. They elevate the spirit into joy and happiness.
Dharmji combines the sacred, the angelic and pure fun into divinely charged music that keeps the grove light and each chant focused. This album combines eastern and western soundscapes into a delightful meditative and modern fusion that sustains the focus of the sacred sahana chants. Piano, guitar, flute and viola combine with electronic sitar and tabla. He is accompanied by the beautiful voice of Sat Purkh Kaur, and musicianship of Amar Singh on flute, Sahib Amar Kaur on viola.
Dharm says about this album:
”May we resonate as a song of love. May we relate to God in all. May we feel the divine in all. My prayer is that we all manifest the original joy of the Universe. These sacred man¬tras are among the most transfor-mative sounds on earth. God seeps in. The clouds clear. The light comes through. It's the miracle of naad, the sacred sound.”
