When the nose is running, there is a tickle in the throat and the voice becomes hoarse, Prana Rasayana by Maharishi Ayurveda can be helpful. Maintaining a healthy upper respiratory tract is especially important during this time.
The main ingredient of Prana Rasayana is Tulsi (Ocimum santum, holy basil), which has hot and spicy characteristics according to Ayurveda. This means it reduces Vata and Kapha, and thereby can aid in loosening mucus and strengthening the respiratory tract. Tulsi is supported by other herbs and bamboo manna, whose beneficial effects on the respiratory tract have likewise long since been known in Ayurveda.
Maharishi's Prana Rasayana also contains other valuable ingredients from nature such as liquorice, long pepper, cardamom, cinnamon and ginger.

Inula racemosa 63 mg, Elettaria cardamomum (cardamom) 63 mg. Thickener acacia gum. Cinnamomum zeylanicum (Ceylon cinnamon) 36 mg. Lubricant talcum.
