Kanchanara is the name of a beautiful tree of which Ayurvedic texts describes impressive and beneficial properties for women. Combined with a number of other valuable herbs and the fragrant resin of the mukul myrrh tree, the popular Kanchanara Guggulu is produced in many traditional single steps.
The Indian name "Guggulu" means "the one that protects from disease". In the tradition of Ayurveda, the Guggulu resin is highly valued for its bitter, pungent, sweet and astringent taste that balances all three doshas. Kanchanara Guggulu is a very famous Ayurvedic recipe for women.
