Inspired by his tours through the US and Latin America, Guru Shabad Singh continues the musical journey he began on his previous release Beloved with another stellar collection of Gurbani Kirtan classics that will make you sing, feel your heart, and raise the spirit.
With his album Nectar, Guru Shabad follows the tradition of singing Kirtan in both Gurmukhi and English - "the future of Kundalini Yoga music" the way Yogi Bhajan envisioned it.
For the single "Dithay Sabay Thaav", Guru Shabad teamed up with former members of the Gypsy Kings, to ignite the fire of the soul with a dash of Latin Rumba, while holding to his well known and loved signature melodic style. The group spent several days together shooting the music video for the song during their recording sessions at Swami's Studio near Parmahansa Yogananda's temple in Encinitas, California, and at Ram Das Puri, New Mexico.
