Haritaki (botanical name Terminalia chebula) has been extremely popular in Ayurveda since ancient times due to its many beneficial properties and is still available today in many different forms and in daily use.
Haritaki balances all three doshas and is a true gift from Mother Earth, full of holistic power. Along with Amalaki and Bhibakti, it is one of the three ‘magical’ ingredients of Triphala.

Guna: light, dry
Vipaka: sweet
Virya: heating
The name Haritaki is often associated with ‘Lord Hari’, one of the three Hindu gods responsible for the preservation of the world. In Buddhism, Haritaki is referred to as the ‘great golden fruit’. Due to its special abilities, it is said to create spiritual balance.
Nimi Ayurveda's Haritaki extract capsules are of high purity, laboratory-tested quality and bear the ‘BDIH controlled heavy metal testing’ seal of quality. They are free from additives such as yeast, sugar, gluten, colourings and flavourings. The capsules are made from vegetarian material.
