For the Vasaka Churna Premium from Nimi Ayurveda, the whole plant (without the root) of the malabar nut tree (also called Adusa, botanical name Adhatoda vasica) from controlled cultivation is used.
Vasaka Churna is Pitta and Kapha reducing and has a bitter-tart, pungent and cooling taste.
