Cosmoveda’s green, whole organic mung beans have a pleasantly mild and nutty taste. As a classic Moong Dal, and well seasoned, they are often served as a classic Dal, or in the popular recipe "Mung Beans & Rice" by Yogi Bhajan, or as a finer soup with vegetables.
Green mung beans also can be sprouted very well, making a valuable and delicious ingredient for salads. Deep fried green mung beans are found everywhere in India, where they are a popular snack.
Green mung beans are ideal for the ayurvedic cuisine and a balanced diet.
