With honey, ginger tea is perfect against cough. By its content with zingiberene and gingerol, the fresh or dried root, from Asia, has been highly appreciated for millennia.
Ginger is a spice that warms, used according to Ayurveda, to strength Agni (digestive fire) without stimulating Pitta (the fire / water element).
