Cinnamon is an ancient spice with multiple references of its use. It was also found in ancient Vedic texts of Ayurveda like an unusual spice.
Cinnamon comes from the persistent cinnamon leaves tree but is not a fruit, it is released from the inner bark of the cinnamon tree. In the kitchen of Sri Lanka and India, this spice is widely used. Perfect for very spicy curry and rice dishes with fragrant spices of Indian cuisine, as well as popular ingredient for any kind of desserts, or to flavor the tea.
The Cosmoveda Bio cassia cinnamon comes from South of China and Indonesia. Its taste is stronger than Ceylon cinnamon. It is very aromatic and it is cultivated and used in the same way.
