Raw organic pumpkin seed oil is cold pressed from unroasted pumpkin seeds and has a fine, delicious nutty flavor. Our organic pumpkin seed oil is delicious as a dressing to salads, as an addition to risotto and muesli, or for refining warm dishes and soups. The cold pressed organic pumpkin seed oil is best used only cold so that the pure taste and the valuable nutrients are preserved.
Pumpkin seed oil is deep green and viscous when it comes from cold pressing and contains a variety of valuable nutrients, including linoleic acid (approx. 50%) as well as mono- and polyunsaturated fatty acids. Pumpkin seed oil is also rich in vitamin E, the most famous of all antioxidants: 100 g pumpkin seed oil contain 242% of the recommended daily dose of Vitamin E!
Valuable minerals such as phosphorus, calcium, potassium, magnesium, iron, copper, manganese, selenium and zinc are found in pumpkin seed oil as well as phytosterols and carotenoids (secondary plant substances).
