The production of Frankincense Extract
Frankincense is the natural, air-dried resin of the frankincense tree and has always played an important role in many cultures for a wide variety of applications. Frankincense trees are found in various species mainly on the Arabian Peninsula (Boswellia sacra), in parts of Africa (Boswellia papyfera) and in northern and central parts of India (Boswellia serrata).
The frankincense capsules by Raab Votalfood contain 100% natural frankincense extract from the resin of the Indian tree Boswellia serrata. The frankincense resin is obtained by cutting into the bark of the frankincense trees. The emerging tree resin is dried and the valuable extract is obtained from it. The harvest takes place over several months. Over this long period of time, the quality becomes better and better and purer. Only the later harvest is used for the high-quality extract. To guarantee the high quality of the raw materials, Raab's frankincense extract is regularly tested in German laboratories.
Frankincense Extract Capsules with 85 % Boswellic Acid
Raab Frankincense Extract Capsules contain a standardised high content of 85 % boswellic acid. The unique boswellic acid of the frankincense resin was first described in Western science in 1898 and has so far only been detected in its form in the Boswellia variety. There are two types of this acid: alpha- and beta-boswellic acid. The two best-known beta-boswellic acids are (β-AKBA) and (β-KBA). These are considered to be particularly valuable.
Frankincense & Turmeric – a perfect alliance
In Ayurveda, frankincense and turmeric have a long tradition together. Frankincense is therefore often combined with turmeric. It is recommended to combine pure frankincense and turmeric products.

Preparation / Usage:
Take 2 frankincense capsules 1 x daily before or after a meal with approx. 250 ml of liquid. The bioavailability of frankincense is favoured by fatty meals. Higher dosages should be discussed with the therapist in individual cases.

Store in a cool, dry place, well closed.
