Cleaning the tongue with a tongue scraper is an integral part of the Ayurvedic morning routine. With a tongue cleaner, the coating that has formed overnight is thoroughly removed after brushing the teeth. In this way, inflammations in the mouth and throat can be prevented and odour-causing bacteria can be neutralised.
Tips for use:
In the morning, directly after brushing your teeth. Grasp the ends of the tongue cleaner and, with the mouth open, scrape it over the tongue a few times with light pressure from the (very) back to the (very) front.
Rinse the tongue cleaner under running water and repeat the procedure 1 or 2 more times. Then rinse the mouth thoroughly and refresh with an Ayurvedic mouthwash if necessary.
