Rose water has been used over a very long time in Egypt, Arabia and India to flavor food and beverages, also as a valued ingredient for beauty care products. In the Orient as well as in India many delicious sweets and desserts are prepared with Rose Water.
According to Ayurveda, Rose Water has a cooling and harmonizing effect on the body's energy. Usually, to 2 teaspoons per serving, or an amount to taste, are added to foods or drinks.
