Amalaki, known as the Indian gooseberry Amla (botanical name: Emblica officinalis), has been highly valued in Ayurveda for thousands of years and is an ingredient in many Ayurvedic recipes. In India, the Amla Churna is also called Amalaki Churnam or Aamalaki Choornam. For the Amalaki Churna Bio by Seyfried the Amla fruits are dried and then finely ground.
Amalaki contains much of the fruit's own vitamin C, which is naturally integrated into a complex of tannins. Vitamin C helps, for example, to protect the cells from oxidative stress and to maintain the normal function of the immune system.
Amalaki Churna Bio is suitable for enjoying the benefits of the Amla fruit every day. The Amla fruit is Tridosha balancing, and therefore suitable for all types.
