Pure Virgin organic Sesame Oil is untreated, making it suitable for all kinds of use, including being a high quality food oil with a high contents of oleic acids. Because of its purity, virgin sesame oil is also ideal for all kinds of ayurvedic treatments or massages.
Virgin sesame oil can be used pure, as skin oil or massage oil. When it is being heated, thus "matured", it is also a perfect basic oil for example for ayurvedic treatments and massages. When eheated and matured, it can ideally be blended with Ayurvedic herbs. Before using the sesame oil, for example for a massage, it should be warmed up in a water bath or teapot warmer until it has reached body temperature.
