Matcha is a premium Japanese Green Tea, which is ground to very fine powder and is traditionally used in the Japanese tea ceremony. Matcha has a bright green color and a mild, sweet green tea flavor. It is rich in catechines, carotenes and fiber as well as in vitamins A, B, C and E.
Matcha is one of the most precious green teas. To protect the valuable ingredients, Matcha should not be infused with boiling water. Packaging should be tightly sealed after first opening and stored in a cool, dry place.
As a meditation drink, Matcha was discovered over 800 years ago by monks. If now and then you need a power boost, matcha is the perfect thing for you. It is a real power dispenser, very healthy, rich in vitamins, minerals and fiber. The gentle, careful processing of the Ayurveggie Organic Matcha Green brings the fresh green color. Preparation:
Traditionally, 1 to 2 grams of Matcha powder is placed in a Matcha bowl, poured over with 60 to 100 ml hot water and beaten with a Matcha-broom until foamy. The water should not be hotter than 80° C and not be too hard.
Tipp: Of course, the fine Matcha powder can also be simply poured over with well-tempered water for a delicious green tea experience. Enjoyed cold, Matcha is perfect for preparing smoothies or shakes and is a great energizer.
