The formula of the popular Ayurvedic Dhanwantaram massage oil "Dhanwantara Taila" is named after the Ayurvedic deity "Dhanwantari", who is associated with good health and the elimination of diseases.
A main ingredient of Dhanwantaram oil is Bala, an extract of the Indian mallow root. Bala means Power in Sanskrit. The name of the plant reveals its high esteem in Ayurveda. Dhawantara oil is associated with maintaining, building and regenerating inner strength and power. Due to its Vata-reducing properties, it is often used in a rasayana cure and tendencies towards burn-out.
