The core of Chyavanprash is the Amla fruit (also called Amalaki) which is known to be one of the richtest sources for vitamin C. Amla is valued very high in the tradition and science of Ayurveda. It holds the status of a Rasayna (meaning: Life Elixir).
For the Aashwamedh Chyavan Prash, a total of 39 different herbs are processed. It has strong anti-oxidant properties and can promote the body's well-being and internal defense mechanisms. Chyawanprash is an ancient vedic formula, carrying a number of powerful herbs such as Amla, known to be one of the best antioxidants, Giloy (Guduchi), known to have immuno modulatory properties, and - depending on the individual mixture - up to 40 other natural ingredients, to boost your system and make you feel great.
Dosage Adults take 1 teaspoon before breakfast, children take 1/2 teaspoon. Chyawan Prash is best consumed with a bit or warm milk (can also be ricemilk or soy milk).
